December 2015 Happenings

The month started off with a baby shower to celebrate the upcoming arrival of my newest niece Harper.

Joe and I carried on the tradition from last year of starting the month off with the German Christmas Market at This Is the Place Heritage Park. We followed up with the Festival of Trees.

We also began the month off with my nephew's, Landon's, baby blessing.

A new decoration we put together for the centerpiece of our kitchen table.

There was an evening that we were going to go see Hogle Zoo lights with my family, but it was raining so we changed plans and enjoyed a treat at McDonalds.

We saw Forgotten Carols and enjoyed it.

I invited my family over to decorate sugar cookies. We had a really nice time.

We made some treat plates and delivered them to friends and family.

Unfortunately, Joe had to work on Christmas Eve, but I am very grateful he was off for Christmas. We were blessed with a white Christmas. We enjoyed family, fun gifts, lounging around, and eating yummy food. It was a wonderful day.

We celebrated New Year's Eve with a traditional breakfast for dinner meal. Then we played games and enjoyed some munchies with my family. We left around 11 to ring in the New Year at home and Joe was home in time from work to join us.
