April 2015 Happenings

We started off the month with celebrating April Fools' Day. We had a mystery ordering dinner where I gave the different utensils and food items other names. Then each person made an order for different courses without knowing the code. We had some really good laughs. For instance, one order resulted in having to eat rice with cucumbers in the salad because no utensil was ordered. It presented some opportunities for some fun memories.

Moving day fell on the same day that Jess found out what she was having. She found out that she was having a boy. How exciting! We were able to get a good amount moved after receiving the fun news. It was pretty nice that the timing fell on my Spring Break and off track break to allow me to get everything set up. This was quite the task. We had some obstacles along the way as well. It was so nice to finally get it all set up.

I was sure to take some time to break and celebrate Spring Break and Easter. On Friday of my Spring Break I took time to go have fun with a friend for breakfast and a pedicure. That Sunday we were very blessed to have my mom's to go to for Easter dinner as the house was quite a crazy mess still. On Monday we went to Pizza Pie Cafe for dinner. On Tuesday we saw Home in the theater. On Thursday we made French bread pizzas and ice cream sundaes. On Friday we went to breakfast.

I was released from Young Womens as first counselor. This was truly a bittersweet moment. It was so fun to work with the girls which included my sisters Jody and Julia.

We celebrated my first niece's, little Lucy's, first birthday on April 25. She turned one on the 29th. She has been quite a blessing in our lives.
