June 2015 Happenings

This brought the end of another school year. It wrapped up eleven years of teaching for me. In fact, Michael and Alison came in to help me wrap up the year. Alison made the comment, "Now I know why you come home so tired." We brought in the beginning of summer vacation with the Goofy movie and ice cream sundaes.

We celebrated our first Father's Day as a married couple with a yummy breakfast, gift giving, and a dinner with family.

We went on our first family trip/vacation. With our tax return, we had decided to build up a camping supply. So we decided to go to Heber to camp. We had some adventures with cooking with unreliable charcoal, being "overrun" with squirrels, and dealing with scorching temperatures. We were able to enjoy Cascade Springs and Memorial Hill as we tried to escape some of the heat.
