September 2014 Happenings

I'm determined to get caught up. So here we go for September 2014.

September 12 marked five years since I received my endowment in the Salt Lake Temple. It provided an opportunity for another ABC date which was brought to us by the letter U: unique trip to the Salt Lake Temple, underground parking spot U22, US Flag Healing Field, Up, and under 5 weeks until we're united for forever.

September 13 brought the beginning of bridal showers. Mom, Jess, and Brittany put on a great shower for me. Thank you! That evening brought one of my favorite ABC dates, the lettter K, because Joe planned it. It consisted of Kick off attempt Killed, Kidding, Kmart Kitchen aisles, Key maKIng, Knot tying, Klondike bars, Keanu Reeves movie LaKe House, and tying "the Knot" in 31 1/2 days.

September 14 brought some much needed business which we used to knock out another ABC date. The letter I brought about Irish Chocolate Mint Dessert, infinite amount of time spent on invitations, including other individuals, Iron Man, and insanely in love with you Joseph Green!

September 18 & 19 brought a visit by my fun Aunt Cara. She came in town to plan flowers for my wedding.

September 18 was Dad's birthday, and luckily it provided for another fun ABC date. The G date included Gardner Village grub, gum, grins and giggles with the family gang, and girl and guy united as Greens in 26 days.

September 20th marked bridal shower #2 thrown by my good friend Jen Heiner. Thanks a ton!

The 21st allowed for the letter O date: Ogden temple dedication at One O'clock, The Other Side of Heaven, Orange juliuses, and united as One in 23 days.

Sep 25th brought the letter N ABC date: ToNight, Neatifying (yes, I made that word up) our newlywed nest, night drive at nine o'clock, Ninja Turtle masks, Nestle chocolate covered raisins, Nesquick chocolate milk, nestling in for a Netflix show, and Neogamists in nineteen days.

September 27th marked the end of a three weekend string of bridal showers. This one was thrown by my ward family, and boy did they spoil me. Thank y'all so much!

That night brought our Q date: Quarry Bend, quotes and other quizzes, quilt, queso, and Quantum Leap.

The final day of the month presented the letter V date: violet, view of valley, visitor parking, view vocalist concert, and vending machine treats.
